Hallett Regular Hole Gutter Screen is designed with a case-style lip, and is made using powder coated 22-gauge galvanized steel here in the USA. Hallett Regular Hole Gutter Screen is a compression-fit product with 5/16” holes that is installed by pressing the screen against the inside of the gutter over the hanger, then popping it into place on the outer lip. The step-down allows the screen to sit a little higher so you don’t have the risk of any of the hanger screws becoming an issue in installation

The case-style lip on the outer edge so it presses against the top of the gutter channel. Regular and Small Hole are available flat or with a step-down in the back that goes inside the gutter. (The step-down is a ledge that allows the screen to fit over hangers that have screws protruding.)

Will I have to replace my gutters to install Hallett Regular Hole Gutter Screen?

No. Hallett Gutter Screens are compression-fit products that install into your existing gutters — you press the screen against the inside of the gutter over the hanger, then pop it into place on the outer lip. No gutter replacement is required.

Will Hallett Regular Hole Gutter Screen work on metal or shake roofs?

Hallett Gutter Screens sit inside the gutter and press against the outer lip. They do not fasten into or under the roofing material, so they do not depend on a shingle edge and can be used with metal and other roof types. Need further consultation on your specific roof type? Will anything clog Hallett Regular Hole Gutter Screen?

The perforated steel screen keeps debris out of the gutter channel while allowing water through. Smaller openings block more debris. As with any gutter screen, debris can accumulate on top of the screen and may need to be cleared periodically, but it stays out of the gutter itself.

Will Hallett Regular Hole Gutter Screen work during heavy rainfall?

Yes. The perforated design across the full width of the gutter provides a large open area for water intake, so rainwater passes through readily during heavy rain.

Will Hallett Regular Hole Gutter Screen block pine needles and leaves?

This depends on the hole size you choose. Micro X (1/16") offers the most protection against fine debris such as pine needles and shingle grit. Small Hole (3/16") blocks leaves and most medium debris. Regular Hole (5/16") is intended primarily for larger debris such as leaves and twigs.

How long will Hallett Regular Hole Gutter Screen last?

Hallett Gutter Screens are made from 22-gauge galvanized steel with a powder-coated finish, built to resist rust and hold up to weather exposure.

How is Hallett Regular Hole Gutter Screen installed?

Installation is compression-fit and requires no additional hardware. You press the screen against the inside of the gutter over the hanger, then pop it into place under the gutter's outer lip. The case-style lip presses against the top of the gutter channel for a gap-free fit.
