Better to Be Safe Than Sorry

You might say that gutter covers are not necessary. You might say that it’s a waste of money when you can just clean the gutters yourself. Or, if you're not able to clean the gutters yourself, then you can always hire a company to do the job for you. But before you make the final decision against having gutter covers installed, you may want to consider these possible scenarios.

So you went ahead and grabbed a ladder, hand shovel, working gloves, and a bucket. It was never an easy job but you still chose to do it yourself until your ladder slipped and you fell from 10 feet off the ground. Now you face the possible cost of repairing broken bones. You should know that there are a great number of ladder accidents that occur during roof repair and cleaning; and, the majority of those accidents happen to non-professionals. Don’t run the risk of a potentially costly accident.

You decided to hire a company to clean the gutters for you.

Finding a company that is reliable and dependable may not be easy.But, you still managed to hire one. They advertised an attractive $75 fee but you ended up paying them $350 for parts replacement that you may not have needed. At that type of cost it wouldn’t take long to recapture the expense of completely covering your gutters. In addition, gutter protection will also guard your home’s foundation.

You felt like your gutters were going to give way with all the dried leaves, bird’s nests, and everything else dumped on them.

So, you hired a gutter cleaning company right away. However, you didn’t bother to check to see if the contractor was insured. He fell off the ladder, broke his leg, and you went through a nightmare with your insurance company paying for his hospital bills.

These are just a few examples of what might happen if you don't have a gutter cover.
